About Boyd Energy Services
Boyd Energy Services provides Inline ECF and LGR testing on sweet and sour wells along with a broad variety of production and flowback testing services. We have tractors to mobilize units – saving our customers time and money. Beyond production testing we can assist in experienced manpower/relief along with many other services. Since opening our doors we have achieved our SECOR and provided our customers with exemplary service throughout one of the worst downturns this industry has seen.
Bret Boyd
Bret came to the oilfield as green as they come. Straight out of high school with no oilfield experience he moved to Alberta and hasn’t looked back. He spent the next 20 years excelling in the field as a Senior Supervisor. In 2016 the company Bret was working for closed their Canadian operations and Boyd Production Testing o/a Boyd Energy Services rose out of the ashes.
Boyd Energy Services is based in Sylvan Lake and we are a proud Albertan family run business. Central Alberta has been our home and will be for many years.
